Application
Companies, which are using Agile
PLM e6 for product
lifecycle management to process and administrate documents, parts
lists, etc, need automatisms in order to convert files into
standardised graphic formats. Paper as output medium will still be
necessary.
PlotSuite´s
integrated special Agile PLM plotclient within the
output management resp. plot management system CIMGRAPH enables
both implementation of automatic converting procedures and
convenient output of drawings and documents on every available
printer / plotter. Due to the easy integration via the plot
order interface CIMGRAPH can be used as an enterprise output
management solution.
Functionality
- Conversion of CAD plot files and e.g. word documents in a
common archive format.
- Scaling, rotating
- Creation of plot orders as preconfigured AgilePLM plot
order elements. The plot order is set off due to notification. The creation of a
plot order can be performed on each workstation with the PLM client installed.
- Configuration of user specific plot parameter as for
instance default plotter, number of copies, text for stamping, plotter setup,
and more.
- Plot configuration in a special database entity with a description of plotter and
specific plotter parameter.
- Collecting of various documents to one plot order with
common parameter (set collation). Possibility of multi-leveled structure decomposition
of projects, articles and documents. Plotable file formats are selected and prepared for printing.
- Definition of specific banner texts (stamps) with variables, which are linked to database fields
such as number of document, sheet, version, user name, date and time.
